How do you get a quality job at nearly 50

I just cannot understand it,i myself have been self employed for over
20 years running my own courier company.The only problem,the contract
i had was with a worldwide company delivering parcels and sensetive
mail i ran my company within this large network.At one time i had 120
staff members and everything was good until the mother company employed
a service centre manager.This evil person had a partner who also ran a
small delivery company,within 2 months i had lost 15 years of hard work
building my own company.Overnight everything was lost.My company that
i had worked so hard to get went bust i had a lot of knowledge and tried
to start another company, but by this time this evil person had made my
good name "Mud" I could not stop what came next i also went bankrupt.
My life was now in ruins at this present time i have nothing.
After being a company Director you would of thought it was easy to get a
quality job,but being the age i am no company seems to want to use this
vast amount of knowledge that i now have,with no formal qualifications
i must look pretty useless to prospective employers. What these employers
do not understand is a 50 year old man can bring a wealth of new ideas
and knowledge to companys stuck in this new fast living age.In fact
a man of my age will stay with a company until retirement age.To many
companys tend to employ college graduates who may be very good but are
missing one thing common sense. Think about it this way when you were
younger and you had a problem who could you ask for advice,YOUR PARENTS
these people may be 20 or so years older than you and they have the
Knowledge they are also streetwise.So why do i have trouble getting
work i could help and pass on my knowledge to younger people.I have
